He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Borne and Maude Woodlee Borne. He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Bess, Mildred Marshall, Alma Jean Lay, Glenda Borne, Dave, Earl, Melvin "Snood", Andrew Clayton and William Stanley; his wife Doris Moss Borne; his children, Eric Borne (Ramona) and Shanda Misiolek (Robert); his grandchildren, Makayla Cooper (Blake), Taylor and Dawson Misiolek; his great grandchild Lennon Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Borne and George Bess. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Fall Creek Cemetery (30067 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37339).
