He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Brock and Geneva Brock; his sister Barbara Jean (Brock); his brother-in-law Jack Gresham; and his granddaughter Andie Rayanne Makres.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Brock (Hill); his daughter Angela (Brock); his son-in-law Paul Makres; his sons, Dustin Brock (Mark Hawkins) and Darren; his daughter-in-law Christine Brock (McKernan); his grandchildren, Stevie, Danni, Brock Makres, Georgia, Malone and Millie Brock; his sister Diana (Brock); his brother-in-law Ray West; and his pet Woody.
