He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hughes and Fannie; his wife Betty Sue McAlister Hughes; and his son-in-law Sammy Cannon. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Cannon of Halls, TN, Virginia Taylor (Mike) of Oakland, TN, Lora Grear (Mike) of Oakland, TN and Danny Hughes (Alice) of Halls, TN.. He is also survived by six grandsons and two granddaughters and twelve great grandchildren.
