He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Lee and Millie Mandy Blackwood (Greener); his son Donald Ray Blackwood Jr.; and his siblings, Edna Wise, Imarie Davis, Louise Barnett, Lucille Blackwood, Kenneth Blackwood, Claude Blackwood, Gene Blackwood and Dean Edward Blackwood.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Lynn Blackwood (McMunn); his daughter Kristen Deaton (Richard) of Halls, TN; and his brother Lyndell Blackwood of Ripley, TN..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Funeral Home (109 N Church St, Halls, TN 38040). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (1601 N Douglass St, Malden, MO 63863).
