He is survived by: his sister Joyce Delph Shands; his niece Cathy Shands of Clanton; his brother Harry Delph (Eunice) of Gates, Tennessee.; and his caregivers, Kathy Conlee and Dana Burns.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in James's honor to the Serenity Animal Farm, 1950 County Rd. 254, Clanton, AL 35046.
