She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Noel and Audrey Hastings (Davis); her children, Betty McConnell and Mickey Ward; and her siblings, Glendora Clevenger, Zera Mae Alley, Wilbur and Hastings.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Booker (Roger) of Hendersonville, TN, Terri Holley of Halls, TN and Jimbo Ward (Glenda) of Halls, TN. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Halls Funeral Home (109 N Church St, Halls, TN 38040). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Joy's honor to be made to the West Tennessee Children's Home, P.O. Box 10, Springhill, TN 37174, or the Halls Church of Christ, 220 S Church St., Halls, TN 38040.
