He is survived by : his children, Marsha McKay (Randy) and Mark Spiller (Shirley); his grandchildren, Will McKay (Jennie), Jon McKay, Andrew McKay (Kendall), Sarah Spiller Yarbrough (Nathon) and Elizabeth Spiller Acred (Aleks); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Liam, Libby, Samuel, Charlie, Grant, Duke McKay, Emerson, Rex Hurst, Wesley, Eleanor Acred and Elliott Yarbrough.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Halls (102 E Tigrett St, Halls, TN 38040-1537). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Halls First Baptist Church (102 E Tigrett St, Halls, TN 38040-1537).
