She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Charles Carter and Edna Morton Carter; and her siblings, Mary Carter Woods, Anderson Carter III, Galion Carter and William H. Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Piphus of Ripley, TN., Sharon, Piphus of Lavergne, TN. and Ernell Bryson (Maurice) of Jackson, TN.. She is also survived by Grandchildren, (4) Great-Grandchildren, (1) Great-Great Grandchild.
