He was predeceased by: his father Joe Battles; and his nephew Tyler Longmire. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Battles; his siblings, Frank Battles, Jo Ann Faddis (Darrell), Brenda Hammett (John), Kim Longmire-Carter (Don) and Toni Huddleston (Duayne); and his friend Rex Owens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
