He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelius Washington and Callie Hogue (Allmon); his grandson Casey Hogue; and his siblings, Edith White, Lorene Seratt, Dot Spiller, Robert Hogue, Leon Hogue and Waymon Hogue.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie Hogue (Ray); his children, Tina Meadows (Roger) of Halls, TN, Teresa Hogue Cates of Halls, TN and Jeff Hogue (Tina) of Halls, TN; and his brother Donald Hogue (Patty) of Halls, TN.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
