The memory of Rubye Mae Criner (Halls, Tennessee), who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Walton and Lela Walton (Dunavant); her husband Rev. Roger Neil Criner; her son William Carl "Butch" Criner; and her siblings, Bertha Crouch, Nell Harvey, Sam Walton and Herman Walton.
She is survived by: her son Chaplain Roger Dale "Pete" Criner (Judy) of Ripley, TN; and her daughter-in-law Rita Criner of Ripley, TN.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Halls Funeral Home (109 N Church St, Halls, TN 38040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
