He is survived by: his father-in-law Meredith Sheldon; his wife Rebecca Sheldon Matlock; his daughters, Ruthie Ann Matlock Boea and Amanda Matlock Ray (Anterrio); his son-in-law Jerry Eskridge; his grandchildren, Markiesha Bazel, Barbara Bazel, Shontia Matlock (Musiq), Chasity Gallaher, Byron Bazel, Tyvon Frazier, Elijah Ray (Beyounce) and Malachi Ray (Shealynn); and his brother Don Matlock.
