He is survived by : his wife Debby; his children, Candace Bailey (Tom) and Lynn Hyatt Jr.; his stepchildren, Shawnte Whitaker and Shane Miller; and his siblings, Gordon (Wanda), Anita Hume, Nancy Byrd and Kim Whalen (Rocky).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Oliver Springs Historical Society in Lynn's name.
