It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Hale of Harrison, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Cobb and Mattie Mae Cobb; her husband Bobby Hale, Sr.; her daughter Clarice Hale; and her siblings, Milton Cobb, Jr. and Julia Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Hale, Jr., John David Hale, Bernice McClure (Lawrence), Delia Peterson, Tanya Hale-Brown and Nikita Hale; her grandchildren, Ronnie Adams, Timothy Peak, Jonathan Peak, Julee McClure, Rasheed Peterson, Qasim Williams, Zion Hale, Jon Rivers, Jasunni Johnson, Noah Hale, Joshua Hale, Daniel Hale (Julie), Tyler Hale, Bralyn Stokes and Alyssa Stokes; her niece Ruth Stokes; and her nephew DeWayne Cobb. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
