She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Sexton and Ollie Phillips Sexton; her husband Millard "Tim" Jeffers; her daughter Valerie Gaye Jeffers; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Bettie Boshears Jeffers; and her siblings, Nell Rawlings (George), Estelle Chitwood (Raney), Harry Sexton (Daisy), Wilburn "Wib" Sexton, Laurence Sexton, Herbert Sexton, Howard Sexton (Doris), Clifton "Deacon" Sexton (Sue) and Dewey Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Jolly Goins (Paul) and Marc Jeffers (Amanda); and her brothers-in-law, Johnny Acres and Don Jeffers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bayside Baptist Church (6100 TN-58, Harrison, TN 37341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
