He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sutton and Ibby Sylvesta Sutton (Lett); his grandparents, Robert, Margaret Sutton, Calvin and Polly Ayers; his sister Verily Edna Sutton; his aunt Rachel Ayers (Tence); his niece Kathy Sutton Kinningham; and his nephew Patrick Fleeman.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Sutton; his children, Curtis Sutton II (Tonia) and Vickey Sutton; his grandchildren, Mercades Cheyenne Lorens (Jonathan), Curtis Andrew Sutton (Codi), Gabriella Sexton (Gracie), Austin Jones (Haley) and Landon Dunn; his great grandchildren, Genesis Chloe Roselle Lorens, Jonah-Kai Arthur Lorens and Owen Carter Jones; his siblings, James Sutton and Evelyn Sutton; his sister-in-law Eula Tatman; his niece Suzette Roberts (Dale); and his pets, BamBam and Sassy. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
As Curtis was an animal lover leaving behind his dog BamBam and cat Sassy, in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honor him can make a donation in his memory to the Claiborne Animal Shelter.
