In loving memory of George Cunningham of Harrogate, Tennessee, who departed this world on September 13, 2025 at the age of 79. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Cunningham and Rose Cunningham; and his siblings, Onalee Ellison, Imogene Burnett, David Cunningham and Jack Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Cunningham; his children, Michael Cunningham (Star), Wilma Daniels and Jeffery Reynolds; his grandchildren, William Sizemore (Skyla), Jonathan Cunningham (Samantha Jones), Shawn Cunningham (Raegan), James Partin (Tiffany) and Michael Partin (Kathrine); and his siblings, Mary Hill (Donnie), Lydia Scroggins and Keith Cunningham (Julie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel (6340 Cumberland Gap Pkwy, Harrogate, TN 37752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cave Springs Cemetery.
