Tom P. Thompson Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 83, Tom P. Thompson Jr. (Hartsville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Price Thompson and Margaret King Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Baxie; his children, Price, Lissa (Bill Vestevich) and Keith (Meredith); his grandchildren, Anna Baxter, Ashlyn, Robert, Charlotte, Nicholas, Will and Thomas; and his brothers, John (Jan), Eric and Maben Thompson (Julie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (773 E McMurry Blvd, Hartsville, TN 37074). The military honors will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hartsville Memorial Gardens Memorial (Memorial Loop, Hartsville, TN 37074).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 15th Judicial District Child Advocacy Center, the Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of your choice.
