He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Bird and Eldine Bird; his wife Kakki Armour Bird of Henderson; his brothers, Roy Bird (Linda) of St. Albans, WV and Kevin Bird (Joyce) of St. Albans, WV; his children, Doug Bird (Ongie) of Alto, GA., Cindy Bird Smallwood (Danny) of McDonough, GA, Tyler Knipper of Huntsville, AL, Brian Knipper of Florence, AL and Amy Horton of Florence, AL; his grandson Coleton Knipper (Chloe); his great grandchild Baylor Cole Knipper; and his grandchildren, Rowan Knipper, Danny Smallwood, Jacob Smallwood, Bethany Hecht (Gabriel), Ashley Wambles (Chris) and Josh Bird.
