She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Phillips and Virginia Lee Wilson Phillips; her husband Michael Mays; and her brother Michael Phillips. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Mays (Traci) of Deanburg and Kenny Mays (Sharon) of Deanburg; and her grandchildren, Phillip Mays (Sarah), Tiffany Hester (David), Madison Haynes (Jacob) and Ashley Brewer. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Crook Avenue Chapel (304 Crook Ave, Henderson, TN 38340). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at the Pleasant Springs Cemetery.
