He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Rhodes and Ruth Jones Rhodes; his wife Dale Rhodes; and his brother Miles Rhodes. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Rhodes (Kim) of Henderson, Linda Geary (Danny) of Henderson and Annette Rhodes of Henderson; his grandchildren, Eryn Tolley (Brandon), Lauren Geary, Nathan Geary (Payton), Andrew Geary, Miriam Rhodes and Tirzah Rhodes; his great grandchildren, Ben Tolley and Carter Tolley; and his brothers, Dennis Rhodes (Anita) of Henderson and Wayne Rhodes (Nelda) of Luray.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cave Springs Baptist Church (1800 Cave Springs Rd, Henderson, TN 38340). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Cave Springs Cemetery (1800 Cave Springs Rd, Henderson, TN 38340).
