He was predeceased by: his parents, Udell Morton and Mary Catherine Cory Morton. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Plunk Morton; his son Zackary Edward Morton of Henderson; and his siblings, Vernon Lynn Morton of Henderson, Kim Morton Nelson (Phil) of Mason and Lori Jane Morton Foster.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Henderson (304 Crook Ave, Henderson, TN 38340). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Chester County Memory Gardens (Chester County Memorial Garden, US-45, Henderson, TN 38340).
