He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Booth Hester; his significant other Joanie; and his siblings, David William Hester (Pattie) of Luray, Michael Lawrence Hester (Ellar J.) of Finger and Elizabeth Camille Wiencek (Robert).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
