She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Pearl Fowler Burgess; and her siblings, Alvin Burgess, Belton Burgess, Ellis Burgess, Irene House, Sue Hargett, Audrey Kelley, Flora Goodman, Grace Parker, Pauline Pennington and Vonna Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Holtin (Rodger) of Henderson and Tom Yarbro (Sherrie) of Clarksburg, TN; and her grandchildren, Erin Foster, Jim Holtin, Andy Holtin, Monica Reynolds, Brian Holtin and Peter Holtin. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Henderson (304 Crook Ave, Henderson, TN 38340). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue (304 Crook Ave, Henderson, TN 38340). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Henderson City Cemetery (164 N Church Ave, Henderson, TN 38340).
