He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Elder, Jr. and Mary Ann Sipes Elder; and his brother Carl Elder. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Elder of Toone, Kenny Elder, Joanna of Somerville, Cameron Jay Elder, Sierra of Clarksville and Keith Tyler Elder of Clarksville. He is also survived by father to his children but also an affectionate grandfather.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Bolivar (109 Mecklinburg Dr, Bolivar, TN 38008). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Maple Springs Cemetery (155 Maple Springs Rd, Medon, TN 38356).
