It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Tibbs Mitchell (Henderson, Tennessee), born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Franklin Tibbs and Ora Mae Bryan Tibbs; and her husband James Foster Mitchell. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Stacy Goodwin (Lesley), James Ray Mitchell, Stephen Goodwin (Kimberly) and James Hancock (Lee Ann). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
