He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Cornelius and Pauline Young Hopper; and his brothers, Tommy Hopper, R. C. Hopper, Charles Ray Hopper, Timmy Hopper, Eugene Hopper and William Hopper.
He is survived by: his son Hank D. Hopper of Henderson; his grandchildren, Dillon Hopper and Caylie Hopper; his siblings, Rocky Hopper (Carol) of Henderson, Jimmy Hopper of Henderson, Linda Chandler (Allen) of Finger, Bessie Stanfill (Richard) of Scotts Hill, Betty Fesmire (Ray) of McKenzie and Sylvia Mooney (Roy Gene) of Covington; and his close friend Michael Rhodes (Sherry) of Henderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Shackelford Funeral Directors - East Main Chapel (619 E Main St, Henderson, TN 38340). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel (619 E Main St, Henderson, TN 38340). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calendar Cabo Cemetery (4999 TN-22 Alt, Enville, TN 38332).
