It is with sadness that the passing of Claudie Joe Melson (Hendersonville, Tennessee) is shared. Claudie, born on May 11, 1935 in Bonham, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Melson and Bernice Melson; and his siblings, Pat Woolsey, Dennis Melson, Kenneth Melson and Wanda Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Chew L. Tan; his sister Katie Bethel; his children, Michael Melson, Michelle Byerly, Melodie Garner and Serena Aaker; his grandchildren, Sabrina Molina and A'Den Melson Aaker; and his great grandchildren, Heidi Mollinary and Bianca Molina. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
