With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Hunter (Hendersonville, Tennessee), born in Kansas City, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Lucille Skinner and Walter J. Skinner; and her sisters, Patricia Skinner and Susan Costello. She is survived by: her husband Dwane Y. Hunter; her children, Susan DuBois (James), Brian Hunter (Kara) and Michael Hunter; her grandchildren, David DuBois, Matthew DuBois, Joseph DuBois (Tammy Chen), Catherine DuBois-Prathipati (Ravi), Sarah DuBois, Andrew Hunter, Ella Grace Hunter and Spencer Hunter; her great grandchild Luna DuBois; and her siblings, Linda Hodges, James Skinner, Debbie Patmore, Ron Skinner and Gary Skinner.
