She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Davis Renfro and Maude Smith Renfro; her sons, James T. Patton, Jr. and Philip Ray Patton (Susan); and her daughter-in-law Susan D. Patton.
She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Patton; her friends, Laura, Alfred Hollins, Mary and Clyde Vantrease; her son David Mark Patton (Heather); her grandchildren, Katherine Patton Castello, Benjamin Thomas Patton, Elisabeth Patton Guthrie, Julia Patton Humphrey and Hannah Patton Mahon; and her cousins, Alice Ruth Stephens, Betsy R. West and Grady Renfro. She is also survived by seven great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, and nieces.
