He is survived by: his children, Brad Herring (Stephanie) and Lisa Hayward (Duane); his grandchildren, Mallory Herring, Tanner Herring (Candice), Josh Hayward, Olivia Risher (Will) and Seth Hayward; his great grandchild Everly Risher; his cousin Eddie Griffin (Barbara) of Elizabeth City, NC; and his sister-in-law Shirley Herring of Suffolk, VA.
