She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Thompson; her son Eric Thompson; and her parents, Harold Kirby and Rose Ann Kirby. She is survived by: her daughter Kellye Gross (John); her grandchildren, Austin Gross (Anna) and Abby Gross (Griffin); her great grandchild Eleanor Gross; and her sister DeShea Wilson (Jerry).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
