He was predeceased by: his parent Jean Reed; and his sister Janet Lamb Reed. He is survived by: his father Bryant Reed, Jr. of Natchez, MS; his sisters, Jena Wetzel (T. J.) of Suwanee, GA and Jesselyn Reed of Pearland, TX.; his nieces, Callie Beauston (Casey) of Cummings, GA, Catherine Reed Wetzel and Courtney John Wetzel of Suwanee, GA.; and his close friend Honey Bee.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church (217 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials to be sent to First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville, TN to the "Friends First Respite Ministry" or the Amyloidosis UT Medical's Amyloidosis and Cancer Theranostics Research Gift Fund.
