He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill York and Margaret York (McKay); his brother Duane York; and his grandparents, Opal, Clarence York, Ora and Claude Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Diana York (Estes); his sister Diane Lentz of Mt Vernon; his sons, Christopher York of Henning, TN and Michael York (Chrystal York); his grandsons, Ryan York of Munford, TN and Jacob York of Covington, TN; and his nephew Jeff Hicks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
