He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Arvol and Nellie Olive French Ray; his former wife Mattie Sue Palmer Ray; his wife Glenda Perry Ray; and his siblings, Lola Alice Bailey, Mary Sue Bowers, Charles Ray and Franklin Dale Ray.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Lisa Woods (Doug) of Collierville, TN; his grandchildren, Laura Woods of Orlando, FL and Roddy Woods of Tacoma, WA; and his great-nephew Dillion Allen of Henry, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
