He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pauly and Lanie Francis Pauly (Thomason); his siblings, Mildred Haynie (Pauly), Marion Ivey (Pauly) and Carl Pauly; his sons, Burton Kelly Pauly and Eric King; and his siblings' children, Ellen Carroll, Sheila Pauly and Mike Ritter.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pauly (Steiner); his daughters, Rhonda Pauly, Benita Pauly and Jennifer King; his grandchildren, Chance Baraks, Carly Powell, Stephen Austin King and Silas King; his great grandchild Colton Thomas King; his brother William Pauly, Jr.; and his sibling's children, Vivian Neumann (Jeff), Yvonne Haynie, Marion Haynie, Annette Duncan (Ricky), Sandra Hicks, Diana South (Bobby), Susan Burr, Cindie Brown, Roland Ivey (Teresa), Johnie Haynie, Jr. and John Ritter (JoAnn).
