We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James Thomas Toombs of Hermitage, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Toombs; his daughter Jill West; his parents, Carlton Toombs and Maggie Toombs; and his siblings, Doris Jones, Wayne Toombs, Charlie Toombs and Carl Toombs.
He is survived by: his son Tony Toombs; his grandchildren, Tucker Fox and Abigial West; his great grandchild James Ryan Fox; his sister Joyce Marie Wise; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Toombs, Esther Toombs and Teresa Parsons (Chip). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1150 Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Funeral Home (1150 Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
