It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Amacher of Hickman, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ann Beck Amacher; his parents, Howard Riley Amacher and Edna Louise Colbert Amacher; and his father-in-law Frank Beck. He is survived by: his children, Christian Beck Amacher of Carthage, TN, Mary Nicole "Nikki" Craig (Adam) of Bethpage, TN and Ashley Ann Babcock of Westmoreland, TN; his sister Beth Amacher Towne (Norman) of Atlanta, GA; the mother of his children Pamela Ann Amacher; his mother-in-law Shirley Skaggs Beck of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren, Layla, Jada, Riley, Sadie and Mavrik; his sister-in-law Suzanne Jones (Billy) of Nolensville, TN; and his nephews, Toby Towne and Jesse Towne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home (71 E Main St, Gordonsville, TN 38563). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Gordonsville Cemetery (34 Hickman Hwy, Gordonsville, TN 38563).
Mr. Amacher's family request memorial donations in his memory be made to Bass Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
