She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil B "Smokey" Gibbs and Alice Era Hewitt Gibbs; her husband James Donald Vaden; her son Timothy Joel Vaden; and her siblings, Opal Maveline Gibbs, Edward Allen "Frog" Gibbs, Horace "Red" Gibbs, Maxie Albert Gibbs, Sr. and Phillip Wayne Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Vaden (Renia) of Chestnut Mound, TN, Darla Vaden of Hickman, TN and Jeff "J. W." Vaden (Rhonda) of Chestnut Mound, TN.; her grandchildren, Brandon Vaden (Morgan), Brittany Shaw (Adam), Kayla Malone (Ben), Jordan Key (Paige) and Erin Vaden; her great grandchildren, Austin, Silas, Maci, Ashtyn, Carter, Campbell, Logan, Lincoln, Jackson and Luke; and her sister-in-law Linda Gibbs.
The family requests memorials be made to the Caney Fork Missionary Baptist Church or the South Carthage Missionary Baptist Church.
