He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Fawcett (JT) and Opal Davis Fawcett; and his siblings, Lavoy Fawcett and Charlotte Fawcett Matlock. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jenkins Fawcett; his children, Denise Fawcett LaGrange and Jay Fawcett; his grandchildren, Christopher LaGrange, John Thomas LaGrange, Lauren LaGrange and Grace LaGrange; and his brothers, Mike Fawcett and Davis Fawcett.
