He is survived by: his children, Russell Thompson (Tina) and Paula Thompson of Georgia; his sister Jean Allan (Robert); his grandchildren, Maverick Lars Thompson, Madasia Thompson of Hillsboro, Trent Thompson of Hillsboro and Rachel Chandler of Hillsboro; his great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Elijah and Elliot; and his sibling's children, Barbara McGinty of Nashville and John Allan of Estill Springs.
