He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Thompson and Elsie Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Russell Thompson (Tina), Maverick Lars Thompson and Paula Thompson of Georgia; his sister Jean Allan (Robert); his grandchildren, Madaisa Thompson of Hillsboro and Trent Thompson of Hillsboro; and his sibling's children, Barbara McGinty of Nashville and John Allan of Estill Springs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Agnes Episcopal Church (105 England St E, Cowan, TN 37318). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
