He is survived by: his wife Bess Mitchell Johnson; his daughters, Nina Carter (David) and Cathy Luttrell (Larry); and his grandchildren, Chastity Smith (Sean), Matthew Ward (Tara), Justin Luttrell (Kimber) and Colby Luttrell. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
