She was predeceased by: her husband William M. "Bill" Payne; her daughter Linda Gooden; her parents, Ray Jackson and Bessie Jackson; and her siblings, Marjorie Massengale, Billy Jackson and Edwin Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Payne (Glenda) and Nancy Lacy. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
