We are sad to announce that, on May 24, 2026, at the age of 73, Danny Joe Kay of Hixson, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Danny shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Danny farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Tiffani Crider; his son-in-law Wesley; his grandson Carson; and his siblings, Henry (Brenda), Mildred Black, Vyonne Hartline and Lavelda Chambers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Danny's honor to Teen Challenge of the MidSouth.
