With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lee Woodward (Hixson, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Woodward and Louise Woodward. He is survived by: his wife Sandra O'Kelley Woodward; his daughters, Natalie Woodward Huffaker (Rob) of Lookout Mountain, Kim Woodward Martin (Bryan) of Signal Mountain and Michelle Woodward McBrayer (Mike) of Lookout Mountain; his grandchildren, Kakhi Huffaker Wakefield (Michael), Tyler Huffaker Rowson (Geoff), Bobby Huffaker, Bryan Martin (Hannah), David Woodward Martin (Hope), MaryMadison McBrayer Dover (Logan), Kingsley McBrayer and Everett Woodward McBrayer; his great grandchildren, Allie, Harper, Fletcher, Eliza Wakefield, Ryan, Ford Rowson, Robert Huffaker and Ruthie Martin; and his brother-in-law James O'Kelley, Jr. (Jan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Dave's memory with contributions to The Point at Signal, Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, Bible in the Schools, or a charity of your choice.
