He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Lee Jackson; his grandparents, Robert, Margaret McBrien, Luther and Elois Jackson; and his close friend Brian Howell.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon McBrien Jackson of Soddy-Daisy, TN; his children, Nathan (Samantha Jackson), Shannon Jackson of Columbia, TN and Ashley (Kenny Bailey); his grandchildren, Isabelle Simone, Haylee Smith, Gabriel Thompson, Victor Bailey and Elena Jackson; the mother of his children Michelle Harris of Newport News, VA; his sister Lisa Thrasher of Sale Creek, TN; his aunt Virginia Woods of Chattanooga, TN; and his uncle Delbert McBrien of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
