She was predeceased by: her father Bud Smith; her daughters, Darla Olvey, Debbie and Cindy Hamilton; and her brothers, J. C. "Lucky" Smith and Bill Smith.
She is survived by: her husband John L. Day; her sons, Brett Hamilton (Barbara) and Barry Hamilton; her grandchildren, Tami Friar (Bill), John Olvey, Larissa Hamilton and Brettney Williams (Anthony); and her brother Robert "Bob" Smith. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
