It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Keyser Goodner of Hixson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Keyser Goodner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Poncho Goodner; her parents, Virgil Keyser and Lottie Mae Keyser; and her brother Rick Keyser. She is survived by: her brothers, Eddie Keyser (Gail) of Soddy Daisy, TN, Randy Keyser (Jill) of Knoxville, TN and Ralph Keyser (Teresa) of Brunswick, GA; her nieces and nephews, April Bledsoe (Thomas) of Murfreesboro, TN, Lauren Burns of Gloucester, VA, Devon Engle (Jon) of Knoxville, TN, Amethea Davis (Kyle) of Hortense, GA, Chelsea Keyser of Buena Vista, GA, Adam Keyser (Lanie) of Ooltewah, TN and Dustin Keyser of Brunswick, GA; and her stepdaughter Natalie Goodner of Hixson, TN. She is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Janet to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
