She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion R. Voorhees and Charles H. Voorhees; her husband Walter Lamar Freshour; her son Walter Scott Freshour; her siblings, Natalie Elizabeth Brown and Charles William Voorhees; her sister-in-law Jenice W. Freshour; and her nieces, Kathy Gail Hickman and Connie Emerling.
She is survived by: her son Roger Lamar Freshour Sr. (Debbie); her grandchildren, Roger Lamar Freshour Jr., Walter Cameron Freshour (Ashley) and Tara Breann Freshour; her great grandchild Walter Presley Freshour; her stepgrandchildren, Mark Adam Christian and Ashley Christian McDowell; her sister Charlene Roberta Williams of Winter Springs, Florida.; and her sibling's children, Jamie Lynn Sommer of Palm Springs, Shannon Dawn Skinn (Darryl) of Winter Springs, Dolly Voorhees Davis (Lee) of Boca Raton, Kim Capen (Jeff) of Clinton, Greg Pulley (Linda) of Massillon, Darla Wilmon, Garry Opal, Reggie Lewis (Lisa) of Hixson, Pamela Freshour of Hixson, Toby, David Smith of Soddy Daisy, Wendy Gail Longcrier and Veronda S. Longcrier of Tampa.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (2506 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
