He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Sisk and Veneta May Sisk; his brother Jim Sisk; his uncle Alfred "Buddy" May; his niece Terenia Sisk Mumpower; and his close friend Kenneth Black.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dailey Sisk; his children, Kelley Mitts (Byron) and John David Sisk, II (Kim); his granddaughters, Olivia Sisk and Caroline Sisk; and his friend Jean Black. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions and be made to the Soddy-Daisy First Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
